this a similar deck design, i have drawn a line in yellow where the baffle used to be that i cut out, it was a large baffle for the front, no other changes, , still have all the rear baffles and it still mulches great.

I had a 44’ bush hog that clogged up a bit. The 61’ bush was a lot better.
Now I have a scag Cheetah 61 inch and no clogging issues at all. I also currently have a Ferris 52 inch and that is ok but does bog down a bit and leaves more clumps laying around than the cheetah.
It’s all in the deck design.
I guess removing baffles will help though.

    What mower do you have?
My old zero’s (44inch bush hog & 61inch bush hog) were totally different to each other.
The 44 would clog up easily in wet conditions.
The deck would be fully blocked down to the blade height.
The 61 would be good but still hold a bit of grass in wet conditions.
My current zeros are 52 inch Ferris which isn’t as good as the 61 bush hog but better than the 44 bush hog.
But my 61 inch scag cheetah is fantastic!!👍👍
In the time I’ve had it I’ve never had to clear any grass from the deck.
Even when the blades are knackered.
