Default Hydrophobic Soil in Lawn - Wetting Agent

What are the pros and cons of liquid vs granular wetting agents? Noticed water pooling on the surface whilst watering in some fertiliser after vertimowing a clients lawn. They live about 2 clicks from the coast in an elevated position, so get blasted by strong sea breezes that dry the soil out.

Tossing up between Envirosoak brand granular or liquid wetting agent. I have a boom sprayer so application of the liquid version won't be a problem but my preference at this stage would be to use the granular in my spreader.

Go with what ever you want to use, they both have their places and uses. I prefer liquid.

Yeah. I used the liquid in the end for a more immediate effect.
