    Default Weed I'd please

I'm in Toowoomba qld, have a customer who has this creeper, can anyone Id it please. It seems to travel under ground, then sections come up, and it climbs prolifically up other shrubs etc. I just dig it out, when I see it, plus apply round up to other sections, all I do is slow it down really, but by keeping at it, it hasn't smothered any more shrubs, I'd love to eradicate it, but I imagine that's nigh on impossible, anyhow thanks in advance for any advice, cheers john

    Yep I agree:

Best thing I have found to kill it is 2-4d amine so far.

Here is a good info sheet which gives chemicals and their rates etc for balloon vine.
FYI. Fluroxypyr is sold under the brand-name of Starane.

    https://www.daf.qld.gov.au/__data/as...-Vine-PP66.pdf

No mention is made, but given the nature of balloon vine, I would be adding some Pulse (penetrant) to any glyphosate mixtures in order to enhance uptake across hairy leaves / waxy cuticles.

Anyone know what this plant is? IMG_0839.jpg

Growing rampant through fences & asphalt after many years of neglect on a commercial site.

Wants it removed but I assume it will take many years of follow up spraying after it is taken off at base.

Trying to Geoff. Got a bobcat & operator to help.
That was the easy stuff. The Gorse is just as bad and 80% + will be done by the bobcat - we will clean up the fence line.
Got a young guy that likes this kind of work to help us. He is very good at taking directions
So he will do a full day and Joe & I will do half days to help and supervise. Probably got 40hrs there and 1.5 days with the bobcat. It will be more as they ask for more to be done.

Now just waiting to see if quote is accepted

Possibly a Westringia. Maybe fruticosa or jervis gem?

Looks a bit like rosemary too. The smell would give it away if it was.
