I couldn't be happier with our local Stihl shop.
    Ace saw service Braeside.
They have been there forever(over 50yrs) & are super knowledgable & friendly.
They even have they're own chainsaw museum upstairs which is amazing.

    Cheers Fred.

That mower looks interesting . would definitely have to demo one. When you open your stihl shop I will come down for a drive . I see Makita are getting serious with new gear coming out . Exciting times ahead for battery users and it will only get bigger as the gear improves and guys realise how good it is to use . when the difference between petrol and battery is not an issue everyone will be using it.

I had to use my stihl kombi hedge trimmer last week for a job , I hadn't used it for quite a while as all my hedge trimming is done with battery power , when I finished the job both my hands were tingling like I had pins and needles that doesn't happen with battery gear.

I have just found out how to easily fit a speed feed head to the husky whipper snipper , this is a bit of a game changer for me I will be using it a lot more now, just need a couple more batteries and I will get a full day out of it , I hope they bring that one in the vid out with a loop handle it looks the goods see the motor is in front of the battery

That farm property I've spent 2 half days battery whipping the tall grass in 35 deg heat mid week.
There's a bonus having the electric motor above the spool. lol
I had a 11 bucket of water near me to dip the motor head in fully submersed to rapidly correct heat error faults. In cooler conditions its not necessary, but in the heat with non stop heavy use it gets darn hot.
If anyone doesn't think the motor heads aren't water tight, they are.

Not safe to use petrol gear on this job and had the 9ltr fire extinguisher close by.
    Cheers Garry

Watch ians vid you just need that thrust washer that comes in the blade kit , I will try and get the part number and post it. I have seen guys cut pieces off the original head and do all sorts of weird stuff to fit a speed feed , but you only need that washer
