This might be quicker, no power cord hassles.

You blokes have already got me picking up the battery extended Hedger at my Husky dealer during the past few months, dealer owner even tells me to borrow one and try it.
My Multi Tool Hedger done a piston on Tuesday whilst on a very large hedging job and I again kept playing with the Battery gear whilst back in the shop. Credit to the dealer it was ready to go Friday.
Even told me non interested wife about the Battery Hedger. Maybe I should have mentioned the word "Janome" to get her attention.
    Cheers Garry

mate if you do go the husky you wont regret it. You will wonder how you ever did what you are now doing with the heavy , vibrating , smokey loud 2 stroke. I absolutely hate having to pick up the petrol hedger now.
And I used both machines last Friday in the rain no problems

Just home from my mega sized Sunday job that would pay for a fair whack of a Battery hedger. Having a body recovery medicinal beer or two, anything could happen if I get my thoughts onto buying one in my current fatigued state.
As I've got a couple of big hedge jobs to complete this coming week now me noisy, smelly, smoky, vibrating, pull cord heavy hedger has been repaired.
    Cheers Garry

if I was close enough to you I reckon after we had a few beers I would have you talked into it. If I could I would lend you my gear for a day to try out.

    Just do it Gazza.
I just reduced my biggest hedge by 20% in time, its really is that good!
Even better than that was the reduction in fatigue/aches & pains.
I gaurantee satisfaction, if your not blown away, NLALN will buy it off you ........... lol.
The sooner u buy it, the sooner u benefit.

    Cheers Fred.

    Thanks guys,
I'm gona be in the Husky shop again later this week as me new two front ride-on tyres are in. Really love the battery hedger and respect the recommendations here 100%. Plus a battery hedger is not a large purchase.
But lurking in back of head is that I only do hedging for current customers and not randoms as its hard work hedging especially at height or mucking around accessing neighbours properties with overhang.
PLUS Neurologist last week after MRI, has put in writing that wife will be in a wheelchair in a few years, so the mowing game will be slowed up more or be stopped when that arrives.

But keep this thread alive, as I love reading the comments especially re the hedger. My dealer will lend me one for the day too, but we all know when you return it you buy one immediately.

Edit, Mark note that Scott has a D handle fitted as that's not standard, but I felt I would want that if purchased as I'm so used to D handles in the Whippers and Multi Tool. Loved the picture and work there he does.
    Cheers Garry
