That's what I thought, but I can see its advantages if you were doing really big hedges, but I can also see it being in the way on smaller stuff and slowing you down.
Firstly, thanx heaps for putting in the time & effort with your recent vids on the still battery gear.
Anyone one that wants to know about this gear will appreciate it, I think it covers just about everything.
The other ones on the blower & tiny chainsaw were also great, although the blower looked too under powered ?
The harness looks great & I have always been interested in both that one & its competitor, the easy lift.
I can see where it would be a real advantage on bigger & unobstructed hedges but also looks like it could be an encumbrance it tighter spots.
Have been waiting for a long time for someone to get a demo & do a review.
I spoke to the owner of easy lift at the Melb garden show a couple of years back, his product also was quite impressive.
You say the elephants trunk harness is imported to Dandenong ? Im only a few k's away from there so I'll have to look into it further.
Really think even at $580 it would be worth it to me if it takes considerable strain off the bod.
Would love to compare it to the easy lift though, construction, quality & price.
Will send you a pm with a couple of other Q's.
Thanx again. I, & hopefully others will have appreciated your input.
Cheers Fred.
Thanks for the video great to see the blower in use.
The unit looked under-powered as it couldn't shift the weeds off the concrete.
I would consider buying the unit if it was equal to a bg56 in output.
The 160t chainsaw looks like a nice fit between loppers + the 021.
Cheers
Bernard
GUYS GUYS, GUYS those vids are not me, that guy is in Victoria I'm in NSW. I was going to start a youtube channel and post reviews but this guy has done a pretty good job
I've got the HLA85 and went to buy the HLA65 - When I was at the shop, I put a battery in to see what the weight/balance was like and noticed it was a fair bit noisier than the HLA85 ... I didn't buy it just in case it was faulty - Do you guys that have both find the HLA65 louder?
