    Default Newbie from Bribie Island,Qld

    Hi All.
Just started a month ago, had my 12 year old mower expire on the second job, I was trying to start off cheap. I now have a nice new Rover SP which I realise is too big for 2 out of 3 of my customers lawns. I could have bought a cheaper push mower that would have served me better. sigh.
It's why I joined here though, forums can be your best friend usually.

I dunno, the thing wouldn't start after filling it up the other day, I had to go have lunch and wait until it cooled off and the fuel drained or evaporated off. Even then it was reluctant to start but was fine afterwards. No reason I can find.

did you tip it over/ lay it on its side? only ever tip mowers back on the back wheels......if it happens again also release the fuel cap and see if it starts, it may not be breathing & create a vapor lock

I was mowing a feral yard with Kikuyu some of it 3 foot high, so I was stop starting a bit and it just decided to not start again after I refuelled it.

Welcome. I'm based in Redcliffe. I have done a few jobs out that way in the past. Sorry to here about your Rover, they are usually really good mowers. If you ever need a hand let me know.

    Cheers Damien

    Thanks Redeye,
I think you nailed it, it did it again yesterday after I stopped it and went to restart. Vapour lock, I took the cap off and it ran again.

    Hey Damien,
Good to have a neighbour close by, your website has expired btw. I'll keep in touch and we can swap leads.
    Regards Cameron.
