    Default Pine needles on lawns

How do you guys handle these buggers? They don't pickup with my HRU216, unless I go over them forwards, reverse, & again. I don't really want to rake them up each time
    Thanks, Paul

Thats a Norfolk island pine (not a true pine) & boy can they make a mess.
I think at this time of year that they shed way worse with the new growth coming on.
Maybe a quick rake of the majority, then mow, is about the best/quickest way of dealing with it ?
Your prob will hopefully lessen over the next few months but, there will always be a few as long as the tree is there.

    Cheers Fred.

Hi Fred. Thanks for your help. Didn't know it isn't a true pine. I use to rake them up, bend down & pick them up, but there's a lot of them. I'm trying to avoid leaning over to pick them up as I have an injury, so now mow over them which is somewhat successful. May start using my leaf grabs on long handles. Much appreciated too

I would use a blower to create a pile then mulch them with the mower.

I didn't think a blower would work on them. Thanks, I will try it

I have a client who has one of these trees in her yard. Gave her the option of me cleaning them up then mowing or just mowing with them there. The first option more expensive of course. She choose the second option and I just run over them and what I dont pick up stay there.
    Cheers
