Anything Ian says may or may not be garbage, it may also be his own opinion or it may not be his opinion at all, it may just be something he felt like stating anyone following his advice does so at their own risk and may be doing something Ian would actually advise against.
And if you don't like what Ian has to say use the ignore function if you don't know how ask i will gladly tell you
Would give them a go if I had HEAPS of roses, worked in a vineyard or had a particularly weak wrist ........
They do look like they would help with piles of continuous pruning.
Felco #2 are the secateur benchmark but we have used Bachco for yrs. they are virtually indestructible, work just as well as the Felco's & at a third of the price, much better value IMHO.
I would have lost a few pair but never broken one.
From my experience though, don't waste money on those small one handed battery hedge shears, they work but not efficiently.
