All contractors are limited to one site per week unless you're on the specialist contractors list then you're allowed at three, we're not on the list... so pick your best job and do that, then you're done for the week?

Here's the link to get you started: (if it doesn't work goto Landscaping Victoria Master Landscapers facebook page and start there.)

I'm taking the view that unless I see something from the relevant authority stating that gardeners can work, with full details, I am taking a 1 or 2 week holiday at home, not going to bust a boiler over it, and definitely not taking advise from some facebook page, where they don't need to pay the fine if we do the wrong thing.

I had a client ring me yesterday saying that her chemist said that I could work, LOL

That group are "kinda, not really" our governing body being that they are the ones who go into bat for us and meet with the government directly on our behalf representing the whole landscape industry in Victoria. Unfortunately they update their facebook page faster than their website and unfortunately they get the same on the fly unclarified responses we all read later on the government websites. What we can do is ring the Department of Jobs Precincts and Regions direct, but they can be clear as the media releases at best... record the conversation, keep the receipt number and act on that. But where's the fun in that!

Gardening and home maintenance service provider FAQs
Is gardening considered a form of outdoor maintenance?

Yes, gardening is considered outdoor maintenance. When outdoor maintenance is permitted, this means that gardening is permitted. Workers must maintain physical distancing at all times.

But is lawn mowing considered gardening ?
Anything Ian says may or may not be garbage, it may also be his own opinion or it may not be his opinion at all, it may just be something he felt like stating anyone following his advice does so at their own risk and may be doing something Ian would actually advise against.
And if you don't like what Ian has to say use the ignore function if you don't know how ask i will gladly tell you

here in Auckland, we are in lockdown for last 2 weeks, & possibly 2 more weeks.
only thing thats good is the resurgence payment of$1500 +$400 per employee per week & also a wage subsidy of$600 per week, so on $2500 /week for waiting.
Have had a few customers ring, but aint going out, as our police starting to fine people now.
growth will be horrendous tho, not looking forward to fist week back
