Hi bb1. Yes it's been very quiet here for quite some time now.
Seems like facebook is more popular these days. Found one mowing page there, but it doesn't do much for me.

    Hi Guys,

Yep, I was only thinking the same thing just the other day. I don’t do social media of any kind and prefer these forums.

I'm in about 6 different FB groups, l've had to unfollow all but 1 because they're so annoying. On one l was one of the founders but it was made public and now is a bloated monster full of "experienced" newbies

the good thing about this forum is you can keep adding to a topic over time for example the battery gear thread.... but on facebook every day someone else will ask which brand of battery gear is good and then it repeats and repeats.....

We all make mistakes no need remind us and rub it in
Anything Ian says may or may not be garbage, it may also be his own opinion or it may not be his opinion at all, it may just be something he felt like stating anyone following his advice does so at their own risk and may be doing something Ian would actually advise against.
And if you don't like what Ian has to say use the ignore function if you don't know how ask i will gladly tell you
