Has anyone got these, are they any good, they are a decent price. No AM radio though, only FM.

I agree. I didn't realise bunnings sold those. Interestingly they are cheaper at bunnings than ebay. I like the idea of being able to charge them without taking the batteries out. Thanks to you and redeye.

picked up a pair of these today https://www.bunnings.com.au/3m-workt...muffs_p0095130

    Initial thoughts

    The good
    - sound quality
    - light and comfy
    - easy to use, one button does everything
    - the price
    The average
    - one button for everything means that one button could wear out fairly quickly
    - the recharge method is micro usb. They wear out over time and with the dirt and dust that these things cop there is no dust cover for the connector. I'm going to put a strip of electrical tape over the top but that is a pain in the rear end because it has to be removed for recharging.
    - internal batteries aren't replaceable by the looks of it, another single point of failure but only has to last a couple of years I guess.
    - no volume knob, (has to be charged on your mobile ph) Hey 3M people, who was the knob that made that decision?

    Dunno about battery life yet.

Oh yeah and no AM or FM frequency on them but given the crap that passes for Radio these days it didn't deter me. I'm onto a listener supported streaming service called Radio Paradise from california. No ads. Good tunes, well designed app.

One of my mates has the cox lawn boss with the hydro. Really good machine. If I didn't have a dodgy right knee I would buy one.
