Brought two new L26 brush cutters back in January they are the exact model from 5 - years ago.
Called into local dealer today and bushranger L261 has a different bulkier design + different balance / ergonomics to the L26.
As Macka said maybe check out the LK27.
Cheers Astro.
Just bought a onda UMK425. Seems to use a lot of fuel. Maybe it is still running in and will get better. Seems to vibrate similar to my old 2 stroke kubota. So far not impressed.
Usually they don't vibrate,i've had 3 over the years.Give it some time to see if it settles, maybe unbalanced bump feed
Re the Bushranger L261, l bought one before the xmas holidays started as a backup, it is heavier and not as well balanced. Seems harder to start too but goes like the clappers just like the L26

I bought these two for light use over the dry seasons, little vibrations from medium to high revs then it disappears. Was getting more vibration using lower revs, then i tried speed feed heads and vibration was worse until it gets to high end revs. Not really ideal to have to run it at high revs all the time to get rid of the vibes, original Husky bump feeds were better on this machine.
(hjl)..Try revving up the Honda with no bump feed head installed and see if the vibration is still there, that can show if the head is badly balanced and needs replacing.
Hi BeetleJuice
Thanks for the tip.
Replaced the honda bump head. The honda copy of a speed feed. Put on a speed feed head and less vibration. So . Very interesting.

Hi Beetle Juice
Took your idea a bit further today. Got 3 old speed feed heads that I had and tried them. One of them had noticebly less vibration. So went with that one. Thanks for your help. It has made a big difference to the machine.
Cheers
