Default SafeWork NSW $500 safety rebate

I went into Total Tools the other day to buy a platform ladder for a fairly high Viburnum hedge, and the sales fella in there put me onto the SafeWork NSW $500 rebate, that is being offered to purchase new safety equipment, you just have to watch 30 minute safety video before you purchase the equipment, anyone done this?
    Have a look into it, https://www.safework.nsw.gov.au/advi...siness-rebates ,
I'm in need of another ladder also so it sounds good.
    Cheers

Need to be quick I just had a look and low stocks at Shellharbour and Nowra out of stock at all others I looked at
The weight is a downside with all the Gorilla ladders I have looked at but they are great ladders
Anything Ian says may or may not be garbage, it may also be his own opinion or it may not be his opinion at all, it may just be something he felt like stating anyone following his advice does so at their own risk and may be doing something Ian would actually advise against.
And if you don't like what Ian has to say use the ignore function if you don't know how ask i will gladly tell you

And they don't seem to offer parts to repair them if they break, tried to get a step and brace for mine and was basically told NOPE, from their head office. Just another disposable product.

    Good one Redeye,
I watched the tree Industry webinar which is good,
And picked up this Bailey ladder https://www.bunnings.com.au/baileys-...adder_p0153270 ,
And also a 1.8m Guardall platform ladder from Total Tools that I'm very happy with, to do hedges.
This is a massive safety upgrade.

I had a good look at that adjustable Gorilla platform ladder too, the weight of it put me off, I know I wouldn't like moving it around, and the lower steps when the thing is extended right out (gap in the middle of the the tread where the extension goes) would annoy me.
In the end I went for this Guardall 1.8m platform ladder, fibreglass https://www.totaltools.com.au/ladder...latform-1-8m-1

It does have wheels which would help, I'm ten pages in to the Stihl battery gear thread, and an Aussie fella on one of the linked videos about hedging has it and says it's a very good ladder for hedging, also able to adjust the sides of the ladder at different heights for sloping land, that would be handy.

Mine came through couple of days ago, it looks like they just rebated me the amount excluding the gst component, was that the same for you?,
It's fantastic having new ladders, particularly the platform ladder, is making it so much safer.
