My workload from Jim's mowing has virtually dried up during the last 6 weeks, they called me to say that lead fees were going from what i was paying to the same rate as there franchisee contractors pay.It made no sense why they did that until listening to a TV news report last night.
The recent out of work crowd with no income are buying any franchise service or independent business that's available with there super so they can get a regular income.
So there's going to be a influx of new people entering self employment and here currently it's very hard to find a lawn mowing round for sale if that's what you're looking for.
I was talking to a mowing contractor recently who was getting out and going into retirement,he said he advertised his round for sale and within a week a franchise bought the round without checking the round and paid the asking price.
Things may start to tighten up as the year goes on for everyone in business.
