Was given one last december, engine wont play nice so have ordered a new briggs for it......have a few briggs 850s lying around but wrong shaft diameter. l'll probably only use it at home

Whats it doing, have you adjusted the valves? Found this to be heart of the problem with a lot of Briggs and Stratton motors, either that or the carby needs overhauling as the new fuels are tough on carby components.
Its had a new 850 put in, runs well
The original engine, it was the carby which are no longer available......long story short, it was easier to whack in a new donk
