    Default Stander Zero Turn Mower

    Who uses standers?
What do you have and what do you like/dislike about them?

My Hustler dealer just got one in and I am now looking into them.

Scag V-Ride, Hustler Super S, Bobcat Quickcat, Ferris SRS Z1, Wright Stander B. - 36inch

Much will depend on having a dealer reasonably close who actually offers service.
Will be used as a machine to tidy up small areas around the bigger ZTR on larger jobs, small commercial jobs we do with a hand mower, and a few lawn areas we cant get the big zeros onto.

Well I didn't get the goat but I did get a 36in Wright stander B. Well that's what I thought after speaking to Cox Commercial sales manager and paying for one in full at my local. He did say he could get it down at the end of the week and now it's a week later.

I hope Cox have their act together with parts etc for these machines. My big worry is that they wont sell many and then wont stock the necessary parts.

I guess only time will tell.

It's not as heavy duty as the Scag or Hustler but I don't think it will cop a hiding. It did feel really good to ride

I hear on the grapevine Scag have put their warranties up from 2 to 3 years on their Standers? Maybe they are expecting some competition!

Got it home, now the fun begins. Need some trailer mods to get this on/off efficiently. Need to get a Qwikchute from the USA. It will work with the Wright bagger.
There seems to be few problems with the Catchpro combination

How do you find your stander?
Do they bog worse than a ztr?
Do they make your knees sore?
    Thanks

I don't really use it enough to give you a good idea.
The Wright was purchased because it is quite a bit lighter than the Scag, Hustler etc ( its not a full commercial unit)
It has small wheels and low to ground so does not take much to get it bogged (happened once on a chainwire mesh fence line)
One other time I was able to cut blades, get off and continue to drive it out of a muddy area

I don't have any issues with knees but only use it for about 30-45 mins at a time
