yes i have you need agood powerful brushcutter as it takes a bit of power good for thistles and hard stalky things but not good when you hit rocks. 25cc or more.

    Hi all
I am using a husky 322r brush cutter had it for 10 years with hardly a problem.
I like huskys new bump feed heads that the centre bump bit in on a bearing, which stops it wearing out so quickly on hard surfaces
I bought 3 tanaka bruscutters at a auction a 35cc and 2 55cc machines from $90 to $130 each ex council use the 35cc every day no problems, installed husky bump head. Use 1 55cc on big jobs with a steel blade, cuts down nearly everything except ironbark trees!!

I'm now the proud owner of a Shindy T270 snip.
Am loving it so far but I've found it a bit heavy on juice.
Took the bump head off and straight on with the alloy head. The main washer is too large to fit inside the alloy head but the boys at the shop were happy to chuck it in the lathe and machine it down for me at no extra cost.
My ol' faithful Kawasaki has started to play up (new main jet and diaphram kit should fix it) so that'll be my backup now.

Anybody got good, bad or ugly bout the Shindy's??
    Cheers, Jason.

Yep.. Shindy's love fuel especially on a hot day.I have also found the connection joints wear easily and break ..I now have the Husky and love it..No problems and much better fuel economy.A bit dearer to buy but well worth it..

When you say connection joints which do you mean? Engine and head joints?

Hi mowjoe.. the joints which connect the diffrent attachments..very flimsy and wear quickly because of cheap materials.. Husky use good quality steel and diecast and i have never had to change one with two years of constant use..

Yep. I'm hearing ya. Is alot of plastic in there. My Kawasaki was the same....the little plastic cover over the air filter used to wear the click tab from vibration and keep falling off. I went thru 2 before I smartened up and used the good ol' cable tie...never leave home without em'.

Yep its frustrating when things have to be modified / repaired as you go.. This was the main reason i switched all my gear to Husky..I just got fed up with these niggling repairs and frustrating breaks out in the field etc ..Never had any trouble since and reccomend husky gear..
