The new 216 m2 or m1 (with plastic flap ) have a plug that stays in with a side clip...The older 216 ( with metal flap ) were sold with a plug with no clip and will fall out with the door open or catcher on...
The only down side is the stingy customers want a discount when they realise you took less than a catcher full of grass away..lol

We use a small iron gate in the same manor,(you know the ones about knee height).
Its lighter & because it has multiple cross pieces, if the first piece did'nt knock off the rise, the second/third etc will.
Usually in a single pass. Then finish with a proper leveller.
Cheers Fred.
Been using 4 stroke Brushie lately, was 2 stroke for decades, any how I`ve found the 4 stroke uses noticeably less cord than the 2 strokes.. I am thinking ( to much ) due to less revs and more torque...
So maybe a consideration when buying a new brushie...
Has anyone else noticed this ??

Hmm, there should be more torque on a 2 stroke then 4. Are you sure you didn't change the cord thickness? maybe the lower revs are lower or the gearing lower so the cords not spinning as quickly. But if not spinning as quick you would need to spend more time cutting the edge, so I would've thought it would all balance out.
How is the weight difference from the 2 to 4 stroke? Cheers
Same cord same head
The way I see it is 4 strokes have lower revs and high torque at low revs compared to a 2 stroke having all its torque at high revs, so a 4 stroke will cut thick grass at low revs all day but a 2 stroke will bog down at low revs and only cut thick grass at high or full revs ...being that they are rated same hp..
But some will say different so I maybe wrong or thinking too much !!
The weight is much heavier than 2 strokes
