Sounds a bit like running over trail bike tyres in long grass when slashing vacant blocks!

When mowing up allot of leaves,,, always give them a quick blow over first to see whats underneath.
Lately, Ive had allot of close calls to nearly mowing over leaves with Blue tongues , snakes, tree stumps, car parts or toys......

And all the sharps, be aware. Long lengths of wire & rope are also a Prick to deal with! And the chunks of steel, concrete , and so on you know the drill.

Lets all have a crack at the cost estimate. truck 4000, labour 4000, dig and fill, 4000, behind the screens and office workers, 6000, extras about 15%, so hmmm, $2500. all up....$21000.

    Just a quick one.
Couldn't keep pressure in the sprayer this morning.
Simply over tightening the top, distorting the o ring seal.
    Cheers Fred.

I've just finished pruning a heap of Crepe Myrtles at a complex. Looks like they haven't been pruned for several years, just had the hedger run over them. Seem to be a smaller variety. I've cut them from 8-9 foot to about 6 foot high.

Most of them cleaned up ok, but I have one in a prominent position causing me grief.
The main trunk(3" diam) is growing at about 45 degrees. I cut out most of 30-40 shoots from the base, and left 4 of them (3/4" diam) that were well spaced and growing straight.

My theory is when these get going, cut the crooked trunk out.

How is that going to go???
