    Hi David,
    What does for life mean?
If quickbooks change their pricing it's always 20 per month? Inc GST?
Is the transition seamless if already using quickbooks simple start ? Same login etc?

Anything Ian says may or may not be garbage, it may also be his own opinion or it may not be his opinion at all, it may just be something he felt like stating anyone following his advice does so at their own risk and may be doing something Ian would actually advise against.
And if you don't like what Ian has to say use the ignore function if you don't know how ask i will gladly tell you

Not quite - I pay someone to do it for me :-)

For life - means for the life that the subscription is through me as reseller - at least that WAS the offer. I see the current reseller bundle is fixed for just 12 months...

    RE: Merchant Fees-

I finally got paid last week. This is how I balanced things.

Received full payment of the customer invoices & sent it to Undeposited Funds.
Created an Expense (Bank Fees) & sent it to Undeposited Funds too.
The balance of Undeposited Funds now equals the Deposit on the Bank statement.
On the Banking Transactions review, I added the deposit as a Transfer from Undeposited Funds.

Probably not 100% correct, but Customer A/c is Zero, Undeposited Funds is Zero, Bank Fees balance has the fee included and Bank statement is balanced.

David, I can't log into my bank account through QBO lately.
I can log into it ok at the banks website, but when I try the same login info in QBO, it says the info is wrong. Try it a few times & it locks my online banking account.

Been happening for a week or so now.

    Any ideas?

Never mind. I was entering my security token number when it was telling me to enter 'Yes' or 'No' if I had a token DOh.

I can't fault your process - ticks all the boxes, and gets the correct results.

How do you deal with several items settling to bank on the same day?

Hi Dave, I only have 1 client that goes through Square & hope it stays that way. But the deposit above was for 3 invoices (one client). If the deposit was for multiple invoices/multiple clients, I could still do it the same couldn't I?

Isn't it the same as an agent paying me for multiple invoices for multiple clients as one deposit(bank transfer)?. I just receipt all of the invoices to undeposited funds and then mark the deposit as a transfer. Same thing without the complication of the merchant fee.
