Default Oil stains on garage floors

We are moving out of our rented house in a few weeks and one of the things we have to do to get our bond back is clean any oil drops from the concrete garage floor, and the old falcon ute has dropped a few here and there

What would you guys and girls use?

Any suggestions welcome, chemical or organic as long as it works

Pressure washers are great for this type of cleaning. Whatever detergent you use, the pressure washer will help drive the oil/grease out. You MAY find there is sufficient pressure to clean satisfactorily without use of deterent.

For a one off - I believe ALDI have a small pressure washer on special at the moment.

I find that cheap degreaser from super cheap auto (bout $2 a can I think) works well. Once you sprayed it on should be able to hose off.

Get an old or stiff bristled brush and brush some salt, or coarse sand over it, before pressure cleaning.... it acts like sand paper and gets the deep stains out.

I've thought about it, do holdens clean up their own oil drips then?

No mate... don't be silly. Holden sends a team in to do that.

I wouldn't recommend this Keep the Ford

This long time blueblooded ford man actually just brought a Rodeo and I'm reluctantly happy with it I am consoled by the fact that Isuzu actually made it lol

I have heard Coca Cola works well in cleaning up oil stains as well, not sure if it is a myth or factual, haven't tried it myself as the Holden never leaks oil.
