    Here's my gear.

Just had the drawbar on the trailer extended so I can put a mower rack on the front. Still tossing up whether it's worth modifying this one or just buying a ready made one.

Latest addition - VENTRAC 4500P - 31 hp Kawasaki Digital Fuel Injection with 60" finishing deck and 60" Tough Cut" deck (slasher). Slope mower extraordaire - 30 degrees up down and sideways and WH&S certified. Well worth the punt on the investment. Good American engineering. Now to make it pay for itself!

    Nice gear. --- am envious
Was impressed by some utube videos I saw of Ventrac stuff.
What sort of $range -- $15k or so for the power unit + slasher?

Power unit about $ 26k and decks range $3k - $ 8k. I know sounds expensive, but very competative with an F Series Kubota or a John Deere similar.

Thats a better price than what I was expecting! How much more was the diesel?
Did you import or is there a dealer here somewhere. The is another guy who owns one somewhere in SEQ and wondered how he got his hands one one.

Diesel not that much more - Kubota Diesel. There is a distributor in Sydney - VMach Pty Ltd - email: info@vmach.com.au.

I got my gear out of hibernation this arvo to clean off the cobwebs.
