The mower shop wouldnt have sold u one in a box, he would have found it like that b4 he assembled it to give to u thats why their called the middle men and he charges $140 more to find a curved shaft lol
Bunnings are great take it back to them tell them you purchased the wrong one its a curved shaft instead of a straight one and tell them u dont know what you where thinking
They will straighten it out in a jiffy
That picture that you posted makes it look about 2ft longer than it should be best get that checked out as well lol
Thats the new model that was released last week for getting under trampolines and decks !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hahaha great for around corners as well.Originally Posted by bb1
Took it back yesterday and after discussing with the lady on the returns desk whether it should or should not be like that, she asked another colleague who said she didn't have a clue.
she then called for back up, the power gardening guy came over and agreed with me that it should not be like that and i got a replacement.
used it today and it was great very happy with the purchase

Yeah mate as per my previous post I took it back and the young lady (teenager) said aren't they suppose to be like that . Once we established they were not It was swapped over with out fuss.
and its been going great guns very happy with it
They are a safety thing required in the US (apparently) for when using a disc instead of line. If the disc catches on something, the bar hits your thigh and stops the disc chewing up your foot/calf/knee. So in Oz we are more than happy to apply a hacksaw to the concerned area and enjoy the freedom. Having said that I am still to chop it off of my new Shindaiwa T260. I will do it one day.Originally Posted by Sandgroper

Isint Kaaz from bunnings ?

Kazz was originally sold at all good mower stores which built up the brand name till about three years ago approx .
Naturally they are still sold at selected stores .
Sometimes same products are branded differently to confuse the general public example pope blowers sina blowers are the ebv260 model from china also the gator blower is the ebv260
I know ive mentioned that b4 lol
Is the Kaaz branded as anything else?
My Kaaz Trimmer is indestructible had it for nearly 12 months now never misses a beat This is my only piece of equipment that has never let me down(touch Wood), when its time to replace i will defiantly be getting another one.
Sorry bj i cut out the bit about the hedge trimmer by mistake Admin
