    Default Help Needed

    G'Day all.
Got a call from a distraught customer yesterday that something was eating her bottle palms.
Catipillers of some sort had made a mes of them. Anyone know what sort they are, how to erradicate them and how to prevent them returning?
I sprayed with insect spray but no cigar and she had some incecticide their that smelled like rotten eggs that didn't work either.
Some pics to help the learned with identification

Jason you couldn't get a nice close up piccy of one of the caterpillars could you? It might help identify it.

Once you know what they look like you can check here...

Then find out what the best means of eradication is.

Thanks guys. I'm going back this week so I'll break one of the little buggers outa its little house and get a better pic. Their black and gold stripes. Some sort of moth I'm sure...A butterfly would cause that much havoc surely
