What you should do moa man is get some quotes on your own property, or rope in your relo's or friends to do the same that way you'll know from first hand experiance what the prices are. Get a franchise and a couple of indies to give quotes that way you will have a good idea of whats happening.

Average lawn of 600m2 $30-$35 1/4 acre block $45-$50?? depending where you are from.

I charge $120 ph and am surfing by lunch time. Only joking! he he!

Mr Charlie, welcome, be true to your self and ask the question. What is reasonable and fair for your own pocket, after expenses.

Having a medical background, I never got into it for the money. A bit like this industry. You will only make money after a few years, depending on your financial status, no doubt!! Be true to yourself, anything between $40-$60 is reasonable, per hour. But you never tell your client that.

Rubbish Removed, charge a minimum of $60, this includes the tip fee, $17.50{geelong area}, $20 to load/travel, $20 to unload. Not a great amount of money but if you are smart enough you'll add another load to the load, or be able to dump you days clippings as well.
