Question Killing Broadleaf weeds in rye oversown lawns?

Anyone got any ideas on a product to kill oxalis, clover, capeweed etc.in a cooch lawn oversown with perennial rye grass without killing the rye (or the cooch)? May have a lead on kamba M or Associate (Metsulfuron Methyl) but will have to trial them both and if anyone has had success it would save me some serious hassle.

Something I have used is BIN-DIE. Good for established couch, bent, kikuyu, paspalum, buffalo, fescue and rye lawns.

Weeds controlled are bindii, catsear, clover, creeping oxalis, cudweed, dandelion, plantain and thistles in established lawns and turf.

Will need more than one application for clover.

I have used in kikuyu and did the trick, grass went a little yellow but I sprayed in hot weather, which it says it can do on label.

Planning on doing some spot spraying on a customers fescue next week. Will let people know the results unless any one warns me against it

    200 g/L BROMOXYNIL present as n-octanoyl ester

    200g/L MCPA as Iso-Octyl Ester

    SOLVENT: 328 g/L HYDROCARBON LIQUID

I've only got a 200 ml bottle. The spray rate is 30ml per 5 to 10 litres of water per 50 square metres.

I used it on my lawn a couple of years ago ,only used it once and haven't had any bindii until recently

Hope this is of some help.

If there is a lot of clover might be worth using a nitrogen rich fertilizer sometime as well. White clover tends to become more rampant in lawns lacking nitrogen as does onion weed.

I'm no expert on this though. Hopefully some members with a lot more experience might be able to elaborate on this as I'm not sure of the effects it could have on some turf varieties.
