A cleanup job I picked up a few weeks ago. Owners hadn't been there for 8 months - the kikuyu was rife through the garden beds!

That's nice type of job to do, not too high and accessable and good income.
Fred may say that job was no higher than his ankles.
Great work there, but always annoying to have to return to finish a job. I'm home due to rain too and lots of it and frustrated as work is everywhere on hold. Plus the forecast is the same to Friday.
Cheers Garry

before anyone mentions the wave in the long hedge, they wanted it this way as the last guy butchered the hedge and they didn't want to see the glass pane for the pool fence lol strange I know...

Its scary to post on this thread. So much quality work to such a high standard.
But here I go anyway, this is my little win:

This plant hadn't flowered for 15 years. It is over 50 years old. Full of dead and old wood. The last gardener kept hassling her to rip it out. I said to live that long it deserves one last chance. So i forked the ground, layed blood and bone and wetting agent, deep soaked, removed all the dead and diseased wood, cut out a third of the oldest wood. Now its flowering and putting on new growth. It feels like the flowers are its way of saying 'thanks for not murdering me, you freaking legend'. (Well maybe not that last part).
Plants, like us just need a bit of TLC sometimes.
Well you know what?....i'm not a horty guy but have known this for years, you did exactly what my mum and dad showed me years ago, what have you got to lose?...i bet the owner is happy, eh?
