I got a call from Darwin from a client I occasionally mow acreage for. They had a tree limb down over the fence of a vacant rental house in town. Could I remove it, and while I'm there. may as well mow the lawn as it probably needs mowing. Easy job I thought. Can squeeze it in before New year.

Thanks. No rubbish removal. Client had a large cage trailer already at the property which he said I could fill and leave there for him to empty. Also because a retaining wall is going in at the front I dug a 2mx2mx2m hole right behind the deepest point of that area and wheelbarrowed some of the weed seed laden soil and heavier material there with his approval. I've covered it with the excavated soil and it will be covered by about another metre of fill when the wall goes in later in a few days time. Hours? I think 6 or 7 all up.

Yep. I probably got carried away and spent too long there but I'm not run off my feet with jobs at the moment so spending a bit longer and doing it better than they expected can't be a bad thing in terms of repeat business or referrals.
