I thought I would have a go at posting some pics. Here are some photos of my front/back lawn. The back lawn is sapphire buffalo and the front is a mix of sir walter and kikuyu. I cut the lawns with a 17inch scott bonnar cylinder mower.
Nice one Lenny!
Here's a recent one I remembered to photograph. I really wanted to take them for the young owner to show him how he'd let it go and how good it can look with a bit of care etc.
4 more.
I'm a visual person I'd rather see it than hear about it.
Nice work Andy. What a huge difference.
Good one Andy, You,ve added another $20000 value to the property.
What every one is thinking but no ones has asked How Much did you charge you dont have to tell if you dont want....
lol ... that what i call edges. (3rd photo on the 1st photos) Must be 2 years worth there. he obviously only mowed the lawn up to the edge. good work andy b.Originally Posted by Andy B
In the interest of sharing and adding value to all (hope my client doesn't mind), $240 took 6 hours, 12 garden beds, two yards, one nature strip, 11 garden bags of grass and weed. (Time includes round trip to the tip.) Did it solo and had to apply raincoat twice.
Biggest PITA was beside those 3 planter boxes, brush cutter wouldn't even fit between them and fence, bad design! Tip fee... wait for it $3.80! got charged $15.30 the very next day for 12 bags.
You're right RBM, client has a mower but no snipper etc, naturally offered appropriate service for future.
$240 / 6 = $40 per hr. No where near enough IMHO

That amount would be cool with me do that job maybe another 4 in this gam you dont want to be greedy or rib people off I would never pay a dude more than 40 hour{unless you quote you win} that is crazy and here on the gold coast they wou;d think you where smokong crake.......
just got to look back a page to see andy b has made more per hour on another job. it's just sometimes you can get a quote right other times not so.
but if quoting an hourly rate of $40 i'm with bluey here, it's not enough.
