For the client though $240 is a great price although he took over a week to think about it or get other quotes.

Hourly rate.. was my own fault. I was thinking I'd be finished and out of there in 3 hours plus an hour for the tip but changed method to do a better job. Quoted to cut weeds and grass and take away but decided to pull weeds roots and all. And two of those ones beside the house on the side with the trees needed the crow bar so that as well as the rain added a couple of hours.

Now that is understandable. We have all quoted something and taken longer to do it. If you thought it was only going to take 3 hrs that would put you at $80 per hr.

That is some nice work Andy.

I was talking to a bloke the other day doing a lawn next door to 1 of my customers. He reckons he only does lawns for his friends, and then starts telling me how he did an overgrown place for $12 hr. No wonder it's hard getting decent prices around my area. I reckon I'd be lucky to get $240 for a job like that around here.

Crikey that's about what I charged about 17 years ago and used their mower. Mind you I was only getting $10 and hour in my full time job then before tax.

Yeah but he would only do it once and work out there was nothing in it for him. Plus he probably wouldn't come back. You need to steadily test the waters Cranbourne. I thought the same as you until I tried upping my quotes. I am still varying them slightly each time. You may be surprised what you type of price you can command.

    Nice mate

Notice you didn't whip around the inflatable pool. No guts no glory. Jokes aside nice job. Is it rude to ask the cost. Boy you blokes are green over there.

Good earn mate. I take it you removed the green waste. Did the price include dumping. I would have charged more though. Around $300 or $350 mark for me. Am I too dear?

no bluey didnt take nothing away = long but thin in around middle but thick around fence shed etc that hadnt been done for months ,i attacked it with brush cutter around fence line etc then ran over it with bigbob mower and just used blower to blow it around thats all she wanted ... i thought that was reasonable price for that sort of job couple hours , then she told me after one bloke declined to qoute it and anther qouted $120 but the didnt turn up and when she contacted him he told her he wasnt interested ...

Proof is in the pudding I thought you'd collected it too, well done!

Good size yard, good price I reckon, and the kids can play again! Loved the tracks to and from the shed in the initial shot.
