Nice work stripes. Are those 3 sprinkler heads ran off just the mains. I was thinking of installing irrigation for my lawn at home. Where do you buy all your irrigation products from and are there any good internet sites for advice?

    Thanks Andy.
It was a bit overgrown so scalped a bit. Normally it comes up beautiful!

There are 5 but its hard to see them. Just run off mains pressure using 19mm poly pipe. Depending on your pressure and the size of the area you have, you can run 25mm poly which allows you to run more sprinklers off the one tap. 19mm only allows about 40Litres per minute maximum, 25mm up to 65L p/m so you can take full advantage of the available pressure if you have it.

I use Rainbird 1800 series 4 inch pop-ups with Rainbird VAN nozzles. These nozzles allow you to adjust the arc to whatever you want. Depending on the distance you require, they come in 8, 10, 12, 15 and 18 foot sprays. When you install them, you should have them "Head to Head", so where one sprinkler sprays to, you have your next sprinkler there so they all overlap and you get a perfectly even spray pattern. Also install 'swing arms' so you can easily adjust the height of the sprinklers.

I buy my products from a store in Castle Hill, but I recall someone on here saying Wet Earth are good. Here is their link.
If you need any more info, just let me know.

wish some of my customers had the swing arms on their popups pain in the ass when their a centermeter poking up and i smash them also i wish someone would make a riser that a centermeter of to one side so you can change the sprinklers right up against the kerb ready to be smashed while edging the kerb

Nice looking lawn Stripes. But what are those black things spraying water out of them. Oh wait I remember now they are called sprinklers. I think the ancients used them a long time ago. We still find some buried relics in our lawns over here form time to time. They say they were installed before the Great Water Restriction War.

No sprinklers for us over here I'm afraid.
