I would imagine, trim in close to the house, between trees, narrow places that the "big dog" couldnt fit!

Big Dog! hmmmm. I like it!

    Yeh........Pretty much.

Greg...........The idea is that I trim (whippersnip) first sending all the clippings away from whatever I'm trimming around/along then run around the perimeters, trees, fence lines etc side-discharging into the path of the "big dog" (hehe.......Thats pretty cleaver Mick).
I use the 52" as a "trim" mower.

The 61'' has a fully baffeled kit and I run doubles.
It works great as you can see in the pics but thats what ya get when ya run Danes
Not somthing alot of you whackas would know about....................Having a mower that dose a good job that is...............Haaaa

I have spent most of this winter landscaping their yard, & it looks great!

I understand the whipper trimming bit but if big dog has the mulch kit why can't ya just use it or is it that the puppy (52incher) fits into the smaller spaces better??

If ya use doubles on big dog are they mulching blades??

    Greg,
52'' just fits into smaller spaces better etc and easyer to zip around with... plus if all the debris is out in the open arfter I've used the 52'' it's less hassel with the 61.

I double up with Gators and high lifts. Works great but I havn't really tried anything else as far as running doubles goes.
When I get the time and inclination I reackon I might try some other combos.

Alex, when you mow that long grass, does your mower go through using full width of the blades or do you go through 1/2 at a time. Interested, and tony is it the same with your red goat muncher..
