    Top job mate looks good yeah the 196's mow neater than the self propelled honda's i reckon...

    When I started back in winter I was all set to buy a 216 but after a little chat with Dean I went with the 196 for that reason and to be honest I'm glad I did. There will no doubt be a SP in the future but at the moment I really don't need one.

    Very nice Courty. But if you can put up with the extra weight go for a 217 gives an even better cut than the 196. I reckon .

    reposting weights for the now old style Hondas
    dry weights hru19r 30.6kg / HRU196 34.9kg / HRU197 31.8kg / HRU216 43.3 / HRU217 35.0kg / old HRU195 32.6kg / HRU215 42.1KG These are the weights from the back of the manuals add extra 300gm for mulching
    it would appear that the 217 only weighs 100gm more than the 196 so the extra weight shouldn't be that much of a problem

    A driving range I just picked up, mowed today. Approx 11 acres, 3hrs.
