It is a school, second time it has been cut. The previous guy was a bit rough and left it in a mess. It is old grass you are looking at. I mowed then raked and bagged then mowed again. They are very happy.

Rental property I did today in Footscray. Ripped out a lot of weeds/grass by hand, pruned back trees and didn't end up using the whippy/mower all that much. Filled most of my 8x5 box trailer and took about 6 hours all up. Whaddya reckon it's worth?

Thanks danz. I wasn't too fussy with it but I think the place looks better now than when the tenants moved in so it should pass the inspection okay. Surprises me that people will let it get this bad rather than doing a little weeding themselves once a month or so. Still, money in my pocket so I can't complain!

Isn't it great when you resurrect a garden from the jungle. Good result TLC. I would reckon around the $350 mark plus dumping.

Took some more pics today of that job. Its been a week and every things starting to come back pretty badly. Like I said, its not pretty but just the first step.
It needs a heap of round up around the fences, retaining walls etc and even needs another hit with the brush cutter in many places and probably another slash would be good.
Anyway, heres the updated pics. Ive just added them to the album so you can see before and after kind of thing.

mick looks heaps better client should be very happy but i think if your going to take on more jobs like this you probably should get a hay baler and make some more on the side
