Was mowing across the road of these places on Tuesday thinking how bad they looked, then got a call yesterday asking if I could mow them before the weekend.
Nice timing as I only had a short day up there otherwise.

i always say "im not a landscaper, i mow lawns. I know the difference between grass and not grass. Weeding? Do you want em whipped or poisoned. HAND WEED OMG i dont do THAT"

when asked "what plants should i get / what would go well in THIS place / whats wrong with this plant" - (i say go to a nursery, ask them.)

i recently quoted a job where a "qualified horticulturist" had done work.

found out his hourly rate is $55 an hour (weeding, poison, planting etc.)

i dont do ANYTHING for less than $65 an hr.

i quoted $165 to use roundup for about an hours work.

got the job, with repeat work booked in from the landlord, also the tenants want me to work there too.

hand weeding, you gotta be kidding me (did one as a favour for a nice old lady been doing her lawns a long time, quoted $45 for what took me 30 mins. shes so happy. i wouldnt do it for any less dough).

    cheers

Was pretty wet underneath too Mick as it was drizzling rain until about 9am. Mowed most of it twice. 3 hrs to trim/mow/blow the 2x half acre blocks.

Its looking nice and clean now. Cant have you making it all dirty again, unless you buy it of course. Price negotiable!!!!! I havent even put it on the market yet. Saw a Toro with 370 ish hours and less HP go on ebay for over $9500. Im asking way less than that! Its a bargain! Just dont tell the wife. Its ok, what they dont know wont hurt you!!! You could of been home drinking a nice, cold beer an hour earlier! Thats worth more than a few dollars, surely! Ahhhhhh, beeeeeeeer!

Quick little hit and spin I did this afternoon after being a chippy for the week. Clients had a budget of $850 and I spent every cent. $550 in plants and mulch and the rest in labour. Not bad for 1.5hrs work! Three of these a week and I would be on fire!!!!!!

    Go the Doggies!!!!!
