Thanks gents, really apprieciate the comments.
I really enjoy these type of jobs, such a dramatic difference gives good job satisfaction. And this was one of the few that I actually remembered to take "before" photos.
I basicly walk around with a chainsaw for the first few hours & just drop it all on the ground, while the side-kick starts loading it onto the ute/trailer.
One area where its easy to get caught out is with all of the undergrowth/loose leaf litter on the ground under(hidden!) the overgrown foliage, this could be as much as 3/4 of a large trailer load for an average/large house block, & can take hours & hours to rake out & load, but this really does need to be removed on most jobs, really finishes the job off neatly.
Talking about loading leaves/debris....found some shadecloth at the tip, that had a 50x20 batten nailed along a short edge, batten was snapped in the middle, which actually made it perfect(& easy too) to lay out next to a pile of leaves....rake the leaves onto it....then drag it all to ute/trailer. It also happens to be the same size as the ute tray, so its handy to "cover the load" aswell!, rolls up quick & easy too.
