Started cleaning up a steep ridge for one of my better clients this morning, although he's a bit slack. Guess who?
I'll just nibble gradually at the rest as there be dragons in there.
Update on my Rose pruning job. Bloody 458 roses in that garden. We counted them twice late on Sunday arvo. There were possibly 500 roses when the garden was first planted, found a few dead ones and lots that were only rootstock so I will have to attack them with "Mike".
Bit of hedging and general pruning from today. Got about three time as much to do in the backyard of this one tomorrow - mostly Duranta, which I think is a mongrel of a plant, and the Pennisetum from teh pics the other week.
I think the Murraya hadn't been cut for at least twelve months so it's looking very woody but should come back well with regular pruning over Spring and Summer. I used to keep this hedge at fence height for the previous elderly owner but she has since passed away and the son has contacted me again to start looking after the property again. The hedge is now at 6ft tall after today.
The shrubs along teh side are a bit of a mess and will all be grown to the same height eventually.
Couldn't get down the side of the house before I started.

I haven't seen another one around here flowering like it either. Neglect must be good for some plants!
not a bad movie, perhaps lacking in *** and gratuitous violence, I'll give it 3 and a half, how about you Margaret?
