A small job from today. From what was compacted soil and weeds to what will eventually be a nice Photinia hedge.

what mulch is that? pine bark? looks good

Yep the yard sold it as 1" pine bark/chips. Was a little different to what other yards have - a bit lighter, redder colour. The pic was taken after everything was hosed down too so colour/contrast is enhanced a bit.

these gardens were built 12 months ago, going really well, the phone/camera don't do it justice; it's monica trapaga (jazz singer/tv presenter) holiday house. Gardens are full of herbs and salad greens as well as berries, roses and seasonal flowers....

Just got through the 34.5 inch gate for the back yard, otherwise I would not have been doing this one. Ther was a front also
