Just bought one of these hour meters for the ztr...
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Waterproo...#ht_2929wt_963
Looks better than the digital one that I had on it....it lasted 100hrs or so then when the internal battery went dead (not replaceable) the hours dissapeared..

almost tempted to buy this as a spare but think i might get killed if i try to fit another one in the shed http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Victa-Sup...item19cd6a33d5this is very similar to mine but possibly better condition i think mine had sat in the rain for a couple of years without a airfilter cover and i drained about 100ml of water from the cylinder and carby but love it now just need a new fuel tap airfilter hose and throttle cable but still love it plows through long grass without a problem
note that this is a older 2 stroke motor with a base plate that i don't think will fit a newer motor was told i could get an adapter plate for about $150
Anything Ian says may or may not be garbage, it may also be his own opinion or it may not be his opinion at all, it may just be something he felt like stating anyone following his advice does so at their own risk and may be doing something Ian would actually advise against.
And if you don't like what Ian has to say use the ignore function if you don't know how ask i will gladly tell you

i used to think that thing looked like a good idea but then i thought would it work properly because the disc thing would have have to push through the grass first which seems like it would be a pain? also the pic where the disc is on the grass side and the line facing the concrete doesnt seem like it would work that way at all as the grass would get pushed behind the disc? lol dont know if that makes sense. but used on short edges facing the opposite way seems ok?

Why doesn't Stihl Australia do a calendar?

I'd have a bid but postage is a killer (for a calendar).

I bought one of the chainsaws about 18 months ago. Cost me $135 delivered. Lasted for about 3 weeks before I had to get it fixed.....4 times and I only used it to trim small trees on my yard..AVOID AT ALL COSTS
