Following on from some recent discussion in another topic I was having a look at Walker mowers and found this.

I didn't realise they are so expensive....

When I can afford it I think this may be my next trailer. Love the in-built ramps!

Yeah there 45000 you would have to have rocks in your head or be extremly lazy to buy one. Personally i would rather by a decent machine that mulches.

I often wonder about that with a lot of contractors I see. They have a lot of gear in there trailer and I think to myself where does the greenwaste go? They must do a lot of cut and mulch.

I mulch all my yards but still i end up with tones of waste from palm leaves and sticks and what not.

Yea i seriously thought abought getting a mulcher bolted onto the side of my ute. Those palm fronds take up far too much room, time and effort to dump. Mulch up the greenwaste and put into the garden or bin.

You just have to visit the dump more often. I hate having green waste in my trailer particularly in summer. I try to dump on the day it goes in. Sometimes you don't have enough but over two days you should fill up.

It is an interesting topic on where and how contractors store their gear. I see some guys who just have a ute without tool boxes. I don't know how they carry everything safely so it is secure and they don't break anything. Other guys put everything in their trailer and have no room for green waste.

I use a van. All my gear is in it locked away and I carry a lot of extras there. It's pretty tight but I run it like a ship at sea. Everything has it's place and is secure from coming loose and destroying itself. Our trailer is just for green waste. Some times I don't use my trailer for days on end.

How do you other guys work.
    Cheers

Pieces of rubbish. If it weren't for the fact half the cost was postage would have sent mine back. Zero quality control on them, some parts were too tight to fit, others so lose they would fall out on the roof as soon as the blower started up, top heavy and would basically bend so badly you couldn't keep it in the gutter long enough to even start the job.

This looks like an excellent machine and good price for anyone that wants a cylinder mower in Sydney.
