Anything Ian says may or may not be garbage, it may also be his own opinion or it may not be his opinion at all, it may just be something he felt like stating anyone following his advice does so at their own risk and may be doing something Ian would actually advise against.

Has anyone bought one of the AGR pole hedgers or pruners???
The throttle handle on mine wouldn't tighten to the shaft and kept turning around. I ended up over tightening and pulling a screw through, did this happen to anyone else and how did you fix it???
Hey andy is what you do is pull the handle forward and then rap electricel tape around the pole pull the trigger asemble over the tape with force and then titen bolts hey presto good as new should have asked son......
But if you aint ''STIHL'' you aint real....
Thanks man, tape worked a treat. Got a bigger problem now, the drive shaft isn't turning. I opened the clutch up and scuffed the pads but still useless, bloomin' piece of crap hasn't really paid for itself yet. I think it's only had 4 uses and if I'm not wrong it will cost more to have it looked at and repaired than what I paid for it... p1ssed off, wish at least it had paid for itself.
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/WALKER-42-INC...item27b6a2b36a I thought this was ok
Take the agr pole hedger off the "usefull" list. It's pretty much in the scrap heap now and time to save up for something decent!
