I'm guessing that 1 bid MAY have been his own (or his mum's) lol

Anyone got any ideas on this one?
Might be a good second mower.
He has given me an offer to buy it now for $160.

I got given the exact same mower a few years ago and gave it to my Mum to use. They are a little underpowered, but it would make a good backup mower for the price. I also got given a slightly older model that I use on my lawn and it smokes just like that one. You start it up and it puts out a cloud of grey smoke, but after about 15 seconds its perfect. It just doesn't like the thick/ long stuff.

youd have to consider the motor as a throw away item.

If youre handy with swapping a new motor onto it, then i'd say MAYBE.

if youre like me, "mechanically challenged" lol, id say forget it.

thats why i always like to buy NEW, then i know its been looked after.

as TLLG said, you need the fabricated deck - I use one on a acreage and the pressed deck is flimsy rubbish, def not a contracting machine with that deck

redeye, that looks like a pearler of a mower, does the catcher go beside the mower like that?

lol, reminds me of my little old cox "rideon" with the catcher on the side.

back to the thread title, i still thik i got a good deal on the belt driven 52 inch deck for my walker (i havent got the walker yet, lol)

i got it for $900, they list at about $4300.

the poor guy had not gotten one bid on evilbay, and cos i had the link saved, when the auction was over, i could still contact him via the ad. you cant search for the ad again, but if you have it saved you can get to it.

anyway, good bargain. now i just need a MT 26hp to go with it - keep an eye out for me.
