If the description is to be believed it has the thickest deck around. Most heavy duty mowers are 7 gauge, this one is 4 gauge. It is running the Intek motor which is down spec from the better quality mowers with a B&S motor.

The construction of them looks very lightweight.

It looks like a Parklander, I was looking at one on Friday, very lightweight construction. Same hood, deck and motor. I was not impressed with it so did not even ask the price. I will go back tomorrow and ask how much and have a better look and see if I can test it.

Anything Ian says may or may not be garbage, it may also be his own opinion or it may not be his opinion at all, it may just be something he felt like stating anyone following his advice does so at their own risk and may be doing something Ian would actually advise against.
And if you don't like what Ian has to say use the ignore function if you don't know how ask i will gladly tell you

Just uised the 216 today... Damn,,, Bloody hell these things are good.
Powerfull and speedy too. I think mainly due to the gear drive S/P.
    The Proscape is belt driven...

Warned out pistons? Damn. Hopefully it wont happen. I might drop it into the shop for a check up.
Is it costly to renew the pistons?
