I sent him a question after he took down the very first listing and he didn't reply. (This one above is the third listing.)

Thing is, if he let the first listing run it would be sold by now and probably for the money he wants. I have it on good advice that $3K is about top dollar for the condition of trailer and equipment.

wonder if he would be better off splitting it up and selling separately ??
especially if he can wait a few months until springs round again

Personally I reckon he'd be better off holding off til late Winter / early Spring as you said Chris (if he's not in a hurry for the cash) and selling the the Stihl Combi gear, Husky hedger, Atom edger and Honda 216 separately as there'd be a lot more interest in those items individually from a bigger number of buyers. Throw the rest of the miscellaneous gear in with the trailer sale.

Older 216's are still selling up here for anywhere from $450 to $650. That one being a K2 would probably go for around $800+ by itself, depending on condition.

i don't see what the problem is he explained that he stuffed up on the first listing and no one put in a bid on the 2nd listing so he has relisted at a lower price but i do agree he would probably do better selling things separately
