That has to be a misprint as he usually sells the Chinese copies for $249.

i believe this is a strategy used by some ebay sellers to keep the listing alive and save having to relist when stock arrives
Anything Ian says may or may not be garbage, it may also be his own opinion or it may not be his opinion at all, it may just be something he felt like stating anyone following his advice does so at their own risk and may be doing something Ian would actually advise against.
And if you don't like what Ian has to say use the ignore function if you don't know how ask i will gladly tell you

wouldn't go near either of those with a 40' barge pole; the thing with sidchrome is a lifetime replacement warranty and that pole saw looks like its been to hell and back with zero maintenance.....IMO...2c worth....

Hi Geoff, I just picked mine up this arvo.

I went for the alloy type from AGR for $89 delivered. Thought the $39 ones were a bit too 'plastic-y'. I've used the Ozito one from Bunnings and the adjusters are not really accurate.
This one looks not too bad. Still some el-cheapo bits on it but compared to the price of an Oregon or Carlton you''ve got to expect that.

I ran 3 chains through it this evening but haven't tried them out yet. I can see it was fixing up my filing inaccuracies. All the teeth are the same now.

Probably won't use the saw again till Monday so I'll let you know then.
