anyone after a tall grass mower these are push but very easy to push and go through grass like hot knife through butter
mines about 30 years old 2 stroke and i tipped over 100ml of water out of the cylinder and it still goes well

Anything Ian says may or may not be garbage, it may also be his own opinion or it may not be his opinion at all, it may just be something he felt like stating anyone following his advice does so at their own risk and may be doing something Ian would actually advise against.
And if you don't like what Ian has to say use the ignore function if you don't know how ask i will gladly tell you

We used to use these about 30 yrs ago on the council.
So they did'nt get that much use.
They were a great mower though.
Ian, I take it your's being a 2 stroke has the big petrol tank suspended between the handle bars?
    Cheers Fred.

yes it has the big tank i think it must hold something like 5 litres the most i have ever put in it though is about 2 and this will do a very large over grown yard

made me have a look at my new 560, it has the holes to mount a big tank so might take one off a 550 and fit it up - cheers fred & ian!

at first glance it looks brilliant; don't think that's the original donk (gxv140 on a pro 22"?) and his feedback's a worry - still, pick-up so you can have a good look before parting with the hard earned....and 550's that look that good are getting rare!
