30cc ??? Your handheld blower is probably more powerful than that.
My Stihl backpack blower is 65cc.

Anything Ian says may or may not be garbage, it may also be his own opinion or it may not be his opinion at all, it may just be something he felt like stating anyone following his advice does so at their own risk and may be doing something Ian would actually advise against.
And if you don't like what Ian has to say use the ignore function if you don't know how ask i will gladly tell you

if you want a back pack blower then really the bigger the better in my opinion and use a handheld for the small jobs
makita seems to get a good review mind you the specs they use don't seem right to me and i think i saw them listed as 21m/min on one site
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Makita-BB...item3a6e0b2701
or used and by the looks missing parts for $70 less http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Makita-BB...item53f1949f1b
or if you want to go green only $200 extra

It's the Stihl BR600 Magnum i have and i kid you not it will move bricks for you. Extremely powerful and light for a backpack blower.
