    no it's the newer model
Anything Ian says may or may not be garbage, it may also be his own opinion or it may not be his opinion at all, it may just be something he felt like stating anyone following his advice does so at their own risk and may be doing something Ian would actually advise against.
And if you don't like what Ian has to say use the ignore function if you don't know how ask i will gladly tell you

Didn't know whether to put this here on in product reviews??
These chainsaws are extremely poor quality, ive never seen such a poor quality item(maybe I should get out more!), got these chainsaws from ebay,
    2x 62cc chainsaws for $115 delivered, I thought it was worth a punt....but I thought wrong.
Took 30mins to get it going after assembling it.

Do yourself a favour & put the money towards a Stihl or husky with an included case for abt $300 when on special, if you need a chainsaw.
I'll put a photo up later of these cheapies if anyones interested,
Anyone wanta buy a new chainsaw or two!!??

    cheers

There's some things i'll take a gamble with, and try a cheap product. Chainsaws aren't one of them

Those MS170s are great little saws, I was skeptical thinking its just a crappier quality Stihl for the homeowner but we use them at work quite often for hours a day and has performed without fault, they're great for morticing post and rail fencing with the 12" bar, highly reccomended, should go on special for $249 in winter.

been using the cheap baumr-ag chainy's for years now - stuffed if I'd buy a stihl for an outrageous price knowing their not euro made... can get 5 or 6 saws for the same price
