I'd be inclined to hard wire it - I've got a similar one on the dash plugged into the cig lighter thats a bit annoying, will hardwire it to the interior light one of these days

i think its a chonda tho. it has the words HONDA STUCK ON IT. THE FRONT OF THE DECK HAS THE LINES ACCROSS THE BOTTOM AND THE ENGINE STICKERS ARE NOT ORIGINAL hONDA. SHOULD HAVE THE BUFFALO STICKER WITH 216 I THINK

Bloody Honda, they really have stuffed up all their marketing and such, really ppl like me don't know a Honda from a Chonda, one retailer says its a Honda, next says its a chonda, ebay says Honda, BEST IF I IGNORE THE WHOLE brand name and find what suits my general requirements.

i bought a 12 volt battery for the dixon ride on mower off evilbay.
the battery is a gell type. no water.
And is so small. around 5 inches in width.
    Works well.
    Has anyone seen these before?
sure looks weird sitting in the battery carriage

yeah, its most likely just a small version of an AGM battery mate ..been around a long while now ...used to run 6 Optima yellow top batteries in the patrol before I got rid of it. best battery design on the market the AGM, not susceptible to vibration so they give a good service life compared to the old lead plate batteries. in saying that though, as with most things, you get what you pay for. my optimas were over $400 ea and you can get ones that look the same for less than half, but they arnt half as good.

Picked up the bargain of the century today. A victa utility mower for $65. New tyres, new snorkel, almost everything new except the base which has a bit of surface rust which is easily fixed. I've seen ones in worse condition going for over $300 on ebay etc.
